Authentic best Cake Rusk Recipe here :Cake Rusk Is Pakistani traditional Bakery snack .Cake Rusk Is served with Tea at breakfast or as a Teatime snack .Cake Rusk Is form of crispy baked biscotti strip .Cake Rusk Is usually like to be preferred dunking in hot tea .

Directions

  1. First sift flour and baking powder together .Add salt in it .Now keep aside
  2. In a large bowl beat butter and caster sugar till get creamy ,fluffy and pale in colour .
  3. Now add eggs one by one and continue beating after each addition.
  4. Now add vanilla essence and yellow colour .beat for one for minute .
  5. Now fold the sifted flour mixture in anti clock wise direction until mix together . Batter should be thick.
  6. Now pour the batter in greased and lined baking pan 8"x10" inches. Any pan can be used but it should be big in size to get thin layer cake .so we can have evenly thin bake strips .
  7. Now bake at 180 degree C for 15 to 20 minutes. Check out after 15 minutes by inserting a wooden stick if it comes out clean it's done otherwise bake more 3 to 5 minutes.
  8. Now take it out and allow to cool .Then cut into thin strips .Now arrange strips on baking sheet and rebake at very low heat 150 C for 15 minutes from one side .
  9. After 15 minutes turn the side and bake 15 minutes more from other side . If required Bake more few minutes till they get light golden from both side .
  10. Now take out on wire rack and allow them to cool .
  11. Store in airtight container and enjoy with tea .
